If you haven't already seen the Recovering Alumni site, I would recommend a quick visit to their webpage to see whats going on in some alumni's lives. I emphasis some these stories are hardy the mainstream experience, but the voice that they are bellowing is loud.
This blog isn't designed to belittle where they are coming from or their experiences. But I really would like to have an equal voice and platform for Alumni who are making a difference in their churches, communities, families and businesses to be able to post their stories.
Any posts or comments that are negative or belittling will be deleted immediately for the sake of the readers. Bitterness and anger are dangerous roots and strongholds that we must vigilantly fight against in our own personal lives. Rehashing the pain and the memories over and over again will never bring resolution, but only cause the person to relive the memory and pain creating a victim.
Part of the journey is bringing our day to day struggles and victories to the Lord and letting Him sort out what is true and good. An if stuff surfaces as our flesh or sin, it needs to be surrendered to the Lord and allow His love to renew our hearts and minds.
Lets allow this blog to give credit were credit is due, first to God, then through our own personal experiences at the Honor Academy
